Mask set
Pottery project.
The mask set are made with the japanese "Raku" technique. I have primary worked with gypsum and clay. It was a long process of shaping to find the current mask form. As I have found the final mask form I start to duplicate it. As I had a quantitiy of 20 I proceed to Raku and finalised them.
The mask set was shown at the exhibition DIA 09 and was nominated for the DIA 09 design prize. You can watch the whole mask set in the 360 degree view of the exhibition room:
