All or the most people are afraid if they look at the skulls. Some people ask me or themselves "why am I paint or draw skulls" and try to approach or to understand it. The rest is speechless and distance oneself. I can only try to explain, to start a conversation and to keep the fear away.
At this time I can not give an answer why am I use this symbol. The Symbol which stands primary for death in the western culture.
If the skull is the symbol for death and we are afraid of the death. We have to learn that the death belongs to life.
